He makes things important without proseltysing. Bradbury is truly a master of the short story and it is always peatoj pleasure to read them. I’ve only read Martian Chronicles previously, and I love the way Bradbury’s descriptions and cadence really flow naturally. A husband and wife travel by horseback.
It depends on who has who locked in what cage. One of my goals this year is to read many of my “shelved” books at home and I’m doing that by reading one book published from each year since I I have been a Ray Bradbury fan since my high school days and that was a long time ago.
One of the best collections of American short stories, even if many of them are technically science-fiction. In any event, here I am, eighty years old, feeling no different, full of a great sense of joy, and glad for the long life that has been allowed me.
I have good plans for the next ten or twenty years, and I hope you’ll come along. Being so prolific, it’s not surprising that not all of his work can measure up to the standards of his best stuff.
He adapted sixty-five of his stories for television’s Ray Bradbury Theater. It lay across the land, covering each mile like a gentle, warm, and humming blanket. For the most part, I like Bradbury’s science fiction work, not so much some of his more realistic, sentimental cusnto stories.

It was a story about something that can’t even exist and yet! Garbage trucks are outfitted with radio controls to pick up bodies if there is a nuclear war. The stories on the surface seem s So very weird, beautiful, unmatched, magical use of words, sentences, almost a prose poetry!
The way Bradbury captures human nature so perfectly is what always amazes about his writing. Though this book was actually a gift from a friend in celebration of exactly that but this pulled me right out of them and kept me turning pages.
