My only complaint, if you can call it that, is that this is very clearly a setup for the fourth book, and as such the main storyline is left unresolved. Thank you for taking the time to write a review on this book, it really makes a difference and helps readers to find their perfect book. Powerful tale of a hero I read the first Rigante book without expectations. I love how Gemmell takes his fantasy land and the history of the Rigante, but plops the ravid in a completely difference scenario than where book 2 ended.
